The Functional Skills Courses is recommended for learners who are aiming to meet university entry requirements for GCSE or are preparing to apply for the Access course. This is flexible course which is suitable to meet learner's needs. This qualification is nationally recognised by colleges, universities and employers as an equivalent to GCSE. Functional Skills Maths Course :- The purpose of this Level 1/2 Functional Skills Maths is to prepare a learner for work, study and life. Learners who achieve this qualification will demonstrate the ability to calculate with fractions, decimals and percentages, how to create tables and charts, how to use metric measurement and how to work out averages, amongst other things. Functional Skills English Course: The purpose of this Level 1/2 Functional Skills English is to prepare a learner for work, study and life. Learners who achieve this qualification will demonstrate the ability to read, write, speak, listen, and communicate in English.

The SIA Top-Up Training for Security Guards is a mandatory 1 day additional training course for renewing your SIA licence. The SIA has developed top-up training course to make sure that current Security Guards/Officers Licence holders must have the same basics skills and knowledge as the new entrants with the updated qualifications and skills. Successful candidates will receive a Level 2 Award for Security Guards (Top Up) certificate from an awarding body within England and Wales who are currently recognised by Ofqual and Department for Education and Skills. This certificate will enable you to renew your SIA licence.
